Coachella 2024 Lineup — Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, Travis Scott to Headline
Coachella dropped their 2025 lineup this afternoon, with Lady Gaga, Green Day and Post Malone headlining Friday through Sunday, respectfully. Travis Scott has the fourth big title billing, with the flyer telling us he’ll “Design the Desert” — whatever that means. The fourth slot usually means the artist plays Saturday, which makes sense as there may not be a huge overlap in the Green Day and Travis Scott fan Venn diagram. The rapper’s return to top billing at Coachella is notable given the fallout he received from the crowd rush that resulted in 10 deaths while he performed at his Astroworld Festival in November 2021.
Loyalty and American Express presales start Thursday, Nov. 21 at 11 a.m., with the general sale starting Friday.
We’ll see if ticket sales tick up this year, as the 2024 edition saw their slowest ticket sales in a decade. The lineup is heavy on nostalgia, with big billing for Green Day and Lady Gaga, plus “The Original Misfits” (the only artist with their logo on the billing), Missy Elliott, The Prodigy, Three 6 Mafia, The Go-Go’s, T-Pain, Jimmy Eat World, and Circle Jerks among others. Charlie XCX — arguably the most notable pop star of 2024 — gets the coveted second spot on Saturday, but may be the evening’s biggest draw. Other notable favorites throughout the weekend include Clairo, The Marías, Parcels, Gustavo Dudamel & LA Phil, Ty Dolla $ign and Shaboozey.
Rap acts include Mustard (who will likely bring out a slew of guests), GloRilla, Yeat, Shoreline Mafia and Megan Thee Stallion. The electronic roster is deep with Keinemusik, Zedd, Kraftwerk, Basement Jaxx, Sammy Virji and Boris Brejcha, among others. International artists are well represented, including India’s Hanumankind, French favorites Polo and Pan, Brazil’s Anitta, and Egyptian megastar Mohamed Ramadan. And in case you missed it, Yo Gabba Gabba! will be playing Saturday.
